I got some more freelance work, which is good for a little extra $$$, but on top of my animation work, leaves no time for anything else really.  I&#8217;m almost done the freelance work though, just a few hours more worth of work I think.  And this Friday, on the 10th, will be great&#8230; going to see Lord of the Rings at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wolftrap.org\/Home\/Find_Performances_and_Events\/Performance\/10Filene\/0910show10.aspx\">WolfTrap<\/a>!  Can&#8217;t wait!  MAN, did the last couple months FLY by&#8230; staying very busy does that I guess.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Library visit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last night I went back to the university library.  (I had to, my books were due, and you can only renew so many times online, unlike a public library.)  So I turned in my last set of books and got out some more.  These aren&#8217;t books that I plan to read cover to cover (I&#8217;d love to, but I definitely don&#8217;t have the time); they&#8217;re just books to flip through, read a chapter here and there.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0452278872?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=wizardwalk-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=0452278872\">The Journals of Ayn Rand<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=wizardwalk-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0452278872\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/><\/strong> &#8211; Because I&#8217;m interested in how she planned out her novels and in her unfinished works&#8230; it&#8217;s a huge book, there&#8217;s a lot in it. It seems to stop at Cars though, nothing about Ratatouille and beyond.  Full of some great stuff though.  Daydream food.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1581153015?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=wizardwalk-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1581153015\">Animation: The Whole Story<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=wizardwalk-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1581153015\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/><\/strong> &#8211; I still have a bit of a desire to create an animated short or a collection of comedy shorts with the same characters, as I mentioned in my last blog post, so this book and the next books have to do with my desire to do that.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0240808207?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=wizardwalk-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=0240808207\">Prepare to Board! Creating Story and Characters for Animated  Features and Shorts<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=wizardwalk-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0240808207\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/><\/strong> &#8211; This one has more of a focus on planning and storyboarding, obviously.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0861966635?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=wizardwalk-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=0861966635\">Art in Motion: Animation Aesthetics<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=wizardwalk-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0861966635\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/><\/strong> &#8211; How to make your stuff look good with readable posing and such, ya know what I mean?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, those are the books to kind of scan through for the next few weeks&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Life<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not up to anything else lately, just my part time job, Animation Mentor, and some freelance work.  They&#8217;re keeping me busy enough!  My projects on the backburner include that novel and that cartoon show.  I&#8217;ve got two weeks of Animation Mentor Semester 1 left, then I&#8217;ll have a week break (just from Animation Mentor, not from my part-time work!) and I&#8217;m not sure what I&#8217;ll do then.
