Hello April.\u00a0 We meet again!<\/p>\n

My short story No One Was Abendsen<\/em> has now been critiqued quite a good many times and I’ve gotten a lot of good and helpful feedback, so hopefully this weekend I’ll be working on a final draft, and on Monday or Tuesday I’ll send it out to a publisher.\u00a0 Wish me luck!<\/p>\n

Then I need to work on another draft of my novelette Dreamgiver<\/em> and hopefully try to get some more critiques of that before working on a final draft.<\/p>\n

Currently, what moments I can spare for fiction writing I’ve been putting into my novel on textnovel<\/a> called Sorcerer<\/em>, which somebody recently commented on saying:<\/p>\n

fantastic! Waiting for the rest, let’s keep ’em coming<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Why thank you! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 It’s an exciting story to write so far.\u00a0 It’s mostly dialog; I’m keeping descriptions to a bare minimum.\u00a0 If I ever finish it, I might go back and embellish it a bit, but maybe not… the lack of descriptions and details really keeps it fast paced I think, but perhaps at the expense of the readers’ immersion.\u00a0 Oh well, I’m keeping details and descriptions really light for now.<\/p>\n

\"\"On textnovel I use a penname: Fineas Blinn.\u00a0 The Fineas<\/em> comes from the last syllable of my last name and mixed letters from my first name.\u00a0 Blinn <\/em>I just made up out of nowhere because I think it sort of goes with the rhythm and sound of Fineas<\/em>.\u00a0 Then I got to thinkin’, hmmm, Fineas Blinn<\/em> sounds a bit more catchy and memorable than Sean Patrick Hannifin<\/em>, doesn’t it?\u00a0 Maybe I’ll try using Fineas Blinn<\/em> as a penname when I submit No One Was Abendsen<\/em> to publishers.\u00a0 Not sure yet, but it’s tempting…<\/p>\n
