{"id":1063,"date":"2011-11-10T11:02:56","date_gmt":"2011-11-10T15:02:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wizardwalk.com\/newblather\/?p=1063"},"modified":"2011-11-10T11:08:34","modified_gmt":"2011-11-10T15:08:34","slug":"trio-no-3-score","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wizardwalk.com\/newblather\/?p=1063","title":{"rendered":"Trio No 3 score"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I finally created a score for my old piece (well, 3 or 4 years old at least) <em>Trio for Harp, Flute, and Oboe No 3<\/em>, which <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wizardwalk.com\/music2\/Trio3.pdf\">can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I often get requests for scores, especially for the chamber music-ish pieces, but I usually don&#8217;t have the patience for score-making.\u00a0 The original scores I produce in Overture 4 are created for the sound they produce and are thus not very pretty.<\/p>\n<p>Also,\u00a0my\u00a0use of harp often\u00a0takes full advantage of a digital harp&#8217;s ability to be completely chromatic, not having to take anytime to switch from one key to another.\u00a0 I suppose one could employ the use of two harps, or get a pedal-changer to sit on the floor by the harpist&#8217;s feet, or use a piano instead.\u00a0 What I think we really need is an instrument that can be played like a piano but sounds like a harp.\u00a0 Somebody please invent it.\u00a0 I will write much music for it.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I finally created a score for my old piece (well, 3 or 4 years old at least) Trio for Harp, Flute, and Oboe No 3, which can be found here.
