Last night, after convincing my parents to continue letting me live with them for the next year and a half while I go completely broke, I applied to Animation Mentor. I don’t know how long it will take to find out if I get accepted or not. I guess there’s always a chance they could say “no, this isn’t really for you, go away” (that would stink) or “you’re accepted, but we’re too full right now, come back in the fall.” Guess I’ll wait and see… it looks like a wonderful opportunity, though, so I really hope I get to do this…

I hope you get accepted. It sounds cool, though I could be terribly terribly wrong (just like that robotics summer class…ugh). That and I’ve always questioned the effectiveness of online instruction, but either way, anything you learn should then be imparted unto me so that we can team up and do a cool project together… we could be the next South Park…

Thanks. Yeah, I’m skeptic about online instruction too (tends to remind me of those commercials on TV… “get your degree online! Paralegal! Private detective! Criminal defense!”), but it looks like there’s a good amount of professional-to-student interaction here, and I Googled lots of good reviews, so it convinced me enough.

Anyway, yes, we could start an animation studio… although… all I’d be able to do is 3D animation…
